Early Universe Cosmology

The arrival of precision cosmological data in the last 15 years means that we have unprecedented probes of the Universe in its infancy. These probes of the early Universe often constrain physics beyond the Standard Model and the nature of the dark matter.

Recently, I studied whether the instability in the potential of the Standard Model Higgs boson could be fatal for high scale inflation.  And I am constantly looking for hints of dark matter imprinting itself on the structure and evolution of the Universe, from the time of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) to the center of the galaxy.
